Paresthesia, or sciatica pain, is a condition which can be extremely distressing for anyone to experience.
Paresthesias are caused by constant pressure on an underlying nerve. When that pressure is released – usually when you flex your muscles – the sensation typically subsides.
In some cases, though, it doesn’t subside. In those instances, however, it returns periodically. It is very unpleasant and you want to know how to get rid of it permanently. Here are some tips.
Sometimes it is the pressure itself that is causing paresthesia. For example, if you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and lift heavy objects, you may develop paresthesia. When you lift something, you can put too much pressure on the nerve that runs from your wrist down your leg.
